Join Girls in Tech San Francisco for our 4th annual hackathon, Hacking For Humanity --we’re going virtual!
This year, teams will have the opportunity to partner with local non-profit organizations to respond to the housing crisis in San Francisco which is disproportionately affecting marginalized communities and has been further augmented by COVID-19.
Solutions will be evaluated in the following areas: innovation, impact and viability of implementation. Coding is welcomed but not required. Instead, leverage your prototyping, analytical or strategy skills to share your ideas for change.
We welcome this opportunity to anyone who is interested - coders, non-coders, designers, project managers, social entrepreneurs, public speakers etc. Hacking for Humanity is a woman-, man-, non-binary-, POC-, and LGBTQIA-friendly environment!
This event will include workshops to help give applicable problem solving skills. Mentors will also be provided to help teams think critically.
You can register with your own team (teams of 3-5 people) or get matched the week leading up to the event.
Finalized event hours, judging criteria and details will be coming soon!
To participate in the event, you can purchase tickets here
